Me, I’ve been super busy with my new project – migration of the couture academic to a WordPress.org site!
My new URL is
I’ve migrated for a couple of reasons. First of all, to organise my content better. I’ve been getting repeated requests to have all my tutes on handstitching etc in one place, so WordPress.org now makes that possible. Also, I have increased functionality and will be able to do more exciting things and engaging with you, my dear readers.
If you are subscribed to my WordPress.com site, no worries, you will be migrated over automatically by the staff at WordPress…I just put in the request, so hopefully it comes soon. I also contacted bloglovin’ to migrate you over as well, so hopefully soon on that too!

I’m starting off with an exciting series on fall/winter wardrobe basics. I’m picking 10 F/W basics and making them up using patterns and couture techniques! Should prove to be a great ride and hopefully inspire you to think about your core wardrobe and make a few missing links! Psst…included is a couture cardigan jacket (so excite!)
